Three UK sim card comes Pre-loaded with the included features and is activated upon inserting this sim card into your phone. This can be activated in the UK or in any of the covered countries mentioned above. Once the sim automatically connects to the network your 30 days will begin from that point. This sim card can be recharged (see below for more info). However, if your UK prepaid sim card has been inactive for 6 months your sim card will expire.
*To make an International call (calls to non UK phone numbers) you will need to add extra credit to your Sim. This can be purchased Online HERE, or in the UK by purchasing a Top up/ Recharge vouchers from Petrol Stations, Convenience stores, Supermarkets, or directly from the Carrier Three’s stores.
Please note this sim is for phones only and will not work in data only devices such as an iPad, Wifi Device or Dongle. This sim also does not include tethering/hotspotting. If you try and use the sim in a data only device it may work briefly but Three UK reserves the right to suspend your service.
"Feel At Home" service automatically works when you arrive in a Feel At Home destination, you will have to ensure you have data roaming turned "ON". Countries included are : Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, Indonesia, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macau, Malta, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Republic of Ireland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sri Lanka, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, USA. As well as Channel Islands (Guernsey and Jersey) and the Isle of Man. The 300 minutes and the 3000 texts the sim comes with can only be used to call UK phone numbers either whilst in the UK or from the fee-at-home countries. When I insert my International sim card, I get “SOS Call Only”, “Invalid SIM”, “Unlock Code". What should I do?
If your phone states “SOS Call Only”, “Invalid SIM”, “Unlock Code” – then your phone is still currently network locked to your provider. You will need to contact them to unlock your phone
iPhones Users: If your phone states “Activation Required”after you have inserted your New Sim – then your iphone is still currently network locked to your provider. Swipe your screen across and connect to a WIFI network. If prompted, enter your Apple ID and Password. If this doesn't work than contact your local provider to unlock your phone as it still locked.
Recommendation: We highly recommend inserting a different carriers sim card into your phone to check if it is 100% unlocked.
