How to Activate this Thailand sim card(AIS)?
To activate this sim card all you need to do is insert the sim into your phone and turn your phone on. This Sim will activate in any country, so please do not insert the sim until you get to Thailand The sim will then automatically connect to a network, which will commence your 15 day plan.
How do I find out my phone number?
You will receive a local Thai phone number which will be printed on the front of the Thailand sim card packaging. The phone number begins with either 06 or 09.
Calling and Texting
As noted above, the sim card comes with 100 bath credit for Local and International Calls and Texts. To add more credit you can purchase Top-up vouchers at any AIS/Telewiz store, 7Eleven, FamilyMart stores, or any convenience store that sells AIS recharge cards in Thailand. Alternatively, we recommend that you use data based apps such as Whatsapp, Viber, Skype, Messenger, etc to make phone calls. You are also able to add credit to your Viber or Sykpe account, which will allow you to make Local and International phone calls directly to landlines and mobiles.
If you are travelling with another person it is important to have the ability to contact one another at any time especially in an emergency. We highly advise that you both purchase a sim card so you can keep in touch using the apps noted above.
International SIM cards require your device to be unlocked, if you are unsure, please contact your service provider for more details.
These Travel sim cards for travellers are prepaid and come with set features. So there are no hidden fees or roaming costs and as such we will never charge you more than what you pay at the checkout.

How to recharge?

Alternatively, if you feel you need more than 6GB of Data then please purchase multiple sims accordingly. For example, if you need 12GB of data then please purchase 2 of these sim cards bearing in mind that each time you activate one sim card you will have 15 days to use the 6GB of data.

How do I track my Sim Card order?
You will receive a Shipment confirmation with the tracking number via email once your items have been dispatched. You can track it here - https://www.nzpost.co.nz/tools/tracking. If you did not receive an email confirmation, you can either contact us or check the Order status page if you know your Order ID.
