How to Activate the China sim card?
To activate this sim card all you need to do is insert the sim into your phone and turn your phone on. This Sim will activate in any country, so please do not insert the sim until you get to your first destination. This sim will then automatically connect to a network, which will commence your 8 day plan.
Please note, you will need to turn ON your DATA ROAMING function in your mobile phone, before you can use the service.
Please make sure your phone/device supports 4G network provided by China Mobile. Compatible phones included iPhone 5s and newer models. Compatible iPads include iPad air, iPad mini and newer models and other smartphones and devices that support TD-LTE Band 39 (1900mhz) 40 (2300mhz) and 41(2500mhz). Calling and Texting
This China sim card is a Data only sim card and as such it does not come with calls and text and cannot receive direct calls and texts. However, we recommend that you use data based apps such as Whatsapp, Viber, Skype, Messenger, etc to make phone calls. You are also able to add credit to your Viber or Sykpe account, which will allow you to make Local and International phone calls directly to landlines and mobiles.
If you are travelling with another person it is important to have the ability to contact one another at any time especially in an emergency. We highly advise that you both purchase a sim card so you can keep in touch using the apps noted above.
International SIM cards require your device to be unlocked, if you are unsure, please contact your service provider for more details.

These Travel sim cards for travellers are prepaid and come with set features. So there are no hidden fees or roaming costs and as such you can never be charged anything extra than what you pay at the checkout.
How to recharge?
As this sim card cannot be recharged, if you feel you need more than 4GB of Data then please purchase multiple sims accordingly. For example, if you need 12GB data then please purchase 3 of these sim cards bearing in mind that each time you activate one you will have 8 days to use the 4GB.
